Questions, answered
When do referral credits land?
The moment the business you referred pays its first invoice. Trials don't count, so neither of you waits on someone who never subscribes. You get 500 AI Credits and they get 250, and both of you get a message when it happens.
Do referral credits expire?
No. They land with your purchased credits, which never expire, and they are used after the credits included in your plan each month.
Is there a limit?
Up to 20 rewarded referrals a year per business, with a bonus at your 3rd and 10th. Past the limit, we look at each one personally rather than turning you away.
Can I refer a second business of my own?
Referrals are for other operators. Sign-ups that share a card, a business email domain or a phone number with the referrer are held for a quick review before any credits go out.
What does a partner get?
A member perk to offer: 20% off their first 3 months for every food truck that joins with your code or your page. There is no commission and no cost. You get a co-branded page, a dashboard of who joined, and copy you can paste into a newsletter.
Who can be a partner?
Any business or group that works with food trucks: insurance agencies, event promoters and organizers, commissaries and shared kitchens, trade associations, truck builders and suppliers, and consultants. We review every application.
Do my members need to use the link?
The link applies the discount on its own. Members who hear about it another way can type your code at checkout and still get it.
Should partners disclose the relationship?
Yes, and it is easy: the share kit ends every message with one line saying you partner with CurbsideOps to offer the discount.
